Hi!
We have a big Problem with amrecover.
We need to restore a directory on a Linux Fileserver.
I logged in as root, changed in the directory /usr/local/sbin and type
amrecover and become the following error:
root@fileserver: /usr/local/sbin > ./amrecover
AMRECOVER Version 2.4.2-19991216-beta1. Contacting server on fileserver ...
amrecover: Unexpected server end of file
root@fileserver:/usr/local/sbin >
I want (must) to recover a complete directory, because its lost on the
Fileserver (and i dont know why).
I have Suse-linux 6.3 with Kernel 2.4.13, Amanda is installed in
/usr/local/sbin (executable files)
I have a tape changer with 10 DLT-Tapes. The no rewind Tape is /dev/nst0,
the Tape device is /dev/sg5 and the changer-device is /dev/sg6.
The partitions that are backuped are sdd1, sdd2 and sdd3, the name of the
Server is fileserver.
I hope anyone can help me!
Thanks a lot.
Bye Juergen
