Apologies for lack of info in the first post
When I turn indexing on for partitions with large numbers of files the dump of those
partitions times out. However, without indexing the dump process works fine. I've
tried bumping up the data timeout but this has no affect. The problem appears to be
independent of client operating system (happens under AIX and Solaris for Intel). Note
I'm using an AIX 4 box as the server. Any ideas ?
I''m using dump and the message is
FAIL dumper webct1 /export/home 0 [data timeout]

sendbackup: info RECOVER_CMD=/usr/sbin/ufsrestore -f... -
