Hi everyone: I am trying to install amanda on Mac OS X Beta but when i ran ./configure something wrong happened because after ./configure checked my system and the options that i used , the report from config.status was "unescaped newline inside substitute pattern creating amplot/amplot" " unescaped newline inside substitute pattern creating client-src/patch-system.sh" and more.... my options for ./configure were: ./configure --without-server --with-gnutar=/usr/bin...... I used without server because I am compiling on a client and when I check config.log I saw that amanda checked "mt" and I don't understand why if this machine with Mac OS X Beta is a client not the tape server, could anybody explain it to me?. I defined that gnutar is in /usr/bin because i checked and this the place where it is. I don't know if I have to change something or if I have to defined anything else. If somebody have tried to install amanda on Mac OS X beta please let me. Thanks a lot sandra
