Yes, thanks, you are correct.  The old information is given.  Yet, I
think I'm more concerned about what happens on the system side: would
the files that were backed up until I stopped the process be marked as
such.  I remembered to check the /etc/dumpdates, as I'm using ufsdump
to back up this disk, and this looks as I would hope so this probably
means everything is fine both with Amanda and the host.

Yes, I will reforce this to a different tape.  Thanks for bringing
