Hi, Got a new problem... Backing up a FreeBSD 4.0 box, the client does not report any problems during amcheck, but after the nightly run, the summary reports: real.cho.c da0s1a lev 0 FAILED [could not connect to real.cho.cstone.net] It seems to connect fine during the check process? Here's the only oddity I could find among the debug files. from sendbackup.debug: /usr/local/libexec/amanda/sendbackup: got input request: DUMP da0s1a 0 1970:1:1:0:0:0 OPTIONS |;bsd-auth;index; parsed request as: program `DUMP' disk `da0s1a' lev 0 since 1970:1:1:0:0:0 opt `|;bsd-auth;index;' waiting for connect on 0, then 0, then 0 /usr/local/libexec/amanda/sendbackup: timeout on data port 0 /usr/local/libexec/amanda/sendbackup: timeout on mesg port 0 /usr/local/libexec/amanda/sendbackup: timeout on index port 0 sendbackup: pid 31332 finish time Tue Nov 21 02:34:04 2000 I'm not sure what those timeouts are. Can someone help me understand? Thanks, Eric -- Eric Sproul, Systems Administrator Cornerstone Networks Inc.
