Hi,
thanks to everybody!!! With your help I solved the problem.
The problem was that RedHat7.0 set the home directory of the user
"operator" as /root and the "operator" has no right to write in it.
What I did was to create a new directory /home/operator and set the
/etc/passwd file accordingly.
Now amandad runs pretty well ... currently I am having other problems,
trying to make my first backup ... I am gonna spend some time trying to
fix them and post to this mailing list only if I get frustrated!!! :-)
