Hi,

The tapes for one of my configurations seems to expire tapes and then .
. . decide they are active again. If I grep for the label string of the
tapes in this config on the mail folder with saved amanda reports (I
intentional force several nights' backups to disk by not loading a tape):

These dumps were to tape wt_daily_02.
Tonight's dumps should go onto 1 tape: wt_daily_03.
taper: tape wt_daily_02 kb 473152 fm 4 [OK]

THESE DUMPS WERE TO DISK. Flush them onto tape wt_daily_03 or a
    new tape.
Tonight's dumps should go onto 1 tape: wt_daily_04.

THESE DUMPS WERE TO DISK. Flush them onto tape wt_daily_03 or a
    new tape.
Tonight's dumps should go onto 1 tape: wt_daily_04.

In the first group, you can see I flushed the dumps to tape
wt_daily_02 and am told that wt_daily_03 is expected next. I do
several more nights of dumps to the holding disk (several not shown)
each telling me to flush to wt_daily_03 and mentioning that wt_daily_04
is next available.

Not observing this at the time, the amdump the night before I
decided to flush things to tape reported:

THESE DUMPS WERE TO DISK. Flush them onto a new tape.
Tonight's dumps should go onto 1 tape: a new tape.

such that, when I actually went to perform the amflush using tape
wt_daily_03, it failed claiming that wt_daily_03 was an "active"
tape.

Apparently, at this point, Amanda believes I have no expired
tapes.

I overide this by removing the tape with amrmtape but . . . any
idea why Amanda is renigging on me like this. It's so rude :)
