I think what you're talking about is that Amanda will sit at the
same level until it thinks a given backup level has made it to tape.
But Paul said he had managed to get subsequent dumps at the same level
to tape, which would have been recorded curinfo, which is used to make
this decision, so I suspect he's OK.
Maybe :-).
