I'm confused.  Note that Amanda says this is a new disk.  So how can
the last full backup have been overwritten?  And "force" would have no
effect since Amanda is determined to do a full dump on it anyway.

I'm not sure what Amanda does with software compression and new disks.
I **thought** it took comprate for the dumptype, which defaults to 50%.
You didn't change that, did you?

Also note that that 2 GBytes has to fit with all the other dumps Amanda
needs to do in the run.  If they need 2+ GBytes as well, that's not
going to fit on a 4 GByte tape.

Comment everything else out of the disklist and make a special run just
for it, then put everything back.
