Hi folks,
I've built the Amanda-2.4.2 backup inside firewall.
Server and client machines are using the ports as:
amanda 10080/udp
amandaidx 10082/tcp
amidxtape 10083/tcp .
We'are going to backup servers outside firewall, the
build require with option --with-portrange=xxxxx and
--with-udpportreage=xxxxxx. My question is : do we
have to re-config our servers inside firewall to
change
to those ports because the ports outside firewall are
required set to the ports lower then 1024. Thank you
in advance.
