First, you might mention what operating system and what version of dump
you're using.
Second, have you checked that the /sbin/dump program supports this
device type? Dump programs are **very** file system dependent.
Third, dump should never get a segmentation fault, so you need to report
this to whoever maintains the version of dump for your OS. Amanda has
nothing to do with it.
