Based on reading the code (not first hand experience), it supports
"exclude <FILENAME>" to omit a single file. It does not support the
more general "exclude list <EXCLUDEFILE>". As Joi pointed out, this is
a limit of smbclient, not Amanda.
Note also that I don't think the exclusion is taken into account when
gathering the estimate (a different/faster method is used), so this
could throw things off if the excluded file is large.
