Hi all,
I have a dumpcycle of 7 days with 6 runspercycle, and a
tapecycle of 30 tapes.
I'd like to advance my tapecycle by 6 tapes to fit a delivery
schedule, but can't seem to find a way to make amanda skip
forward to the nth tape in the cycle before continuing.
Once I remember being able to put a load of 6 tapes into the
changer and amanda would choose the 'best match' as the
eariest unused tape in the current cycle. Today it marks them
all as 'active tape' and will not use them even though their
dumpcycle is long completed.
Is there an easy way to do this? Would modifying the tapecycle
file be an acceptable method for doing this?
