OK I have checked through the archives and found some
details but I thought I would ask to see If anyone else
has this working.
I am Going to be starting to use amanda to back up
a set of Network appliances. (I have amanda backing
up most of the rest of the site )
Unfortunately One of the Netapp's will be supporting both
CIFS and NFS users. To back up the CIFS users I am
going to have to use the built in dump program on the netapp.
SO I am wondering What issues have people on this list
encountered when using the native Backup program For Network
appliances and amanda ?
I know That I have to write a wrapper for ufsdump on one of
my other workstations (There is a sample one on the net )
and I know there are some Issues with signal handling
and multiple dumps running simultaneously. I was wondering If
any users could give me a few more details then the current
writeup indicated.
