That's because you need to set all that up yourself, probably by
starting with the sample that should have been installed by the RPM
(you'd have to read your RPM documentation to find where they put it).
Have you read the docs/INSTALL file? You may also want to read:

If, for some reason, the RPM didn't install the sample, contact me
offline and I'll make it available.

Huh? What do you mean you're backup up to a disk? Amanda backs up
to tape. And why would you send all that traffic through the worst file
protocol in existence, SMB, to one of the worst OS's in existence, NT?
(Not that I have any strong opinions about Microsoft, or anything like
that :-).

Amanda only runs on Unix, not NT. The computer with the tape drive is
your Amanda server, and it has to be Unix.
