I grabbed, and built the latest gcc from gnu last night.

gcc -v Reading specs from
/usr/local/lib/gcc-lib/sparc-sun-solaris2.7/2.95.2/specs
gcc version 2.95.2 19991024 (release)

I'm going to rebuild amanda in a clean build dir and see what happens from
there.
If worse comes to worse... I'll just move the sun dlt7000 to a 2.6 box ;)
