You **must** use the no-rewind device name for **all** Amanda work.
That's probably /dev/nst0.

On the client? In the home directory of the first <user> listed in
the message? What did you put in it? It must contain:
hostname user
where "hostname" is **exactly** as listed in the mssage and "user" is
the second <user> listed in the message.
