Mike,
Back when I was doing samba shares a while back I
had one share I could never get sucessfully backed up.
The reason I think is that we had had "multiple NT
domains" and the permissions were "whacked out"..
Here are some things to check:
When you configured amanda did you specify:
--with-samba-user=????
The default according to the docs is "backup"
Did you create a "backup" account in your NT domain?
If so does the "share" allow the backup account Full
access??
Those are somethings to check.
Also:
Try running smbclient command line, authenticate, and
list the share through the "backup" account until you
get it worked out... then try amcheck again.
