Hello all,

I put amanda on a Red Hat Linux box a while ago and today I ran amcheck.
Here are the results.

[amanda@amandaserver amanda]$ sbin/amcheck daily
Amanda Tape Server Host Check
-----------------------------
/usr/local/amanda/holdingdisk: 1421348 KB disk space available, using
1411108 KB.
amcheck-server: could not get changer info:
/usr/adm/amanda/changer-status-clean: No such file or directory

Amanda Backup Client Hosts Check
--------------------------------
ERROR: master: couldn't resolve hostname
ERROR: localhost: couldn't resolve hostname
ERROR: amandaserver.mydomain.com: [can not access /dev/sda1 (/): Permission
denied]
ERROR: amandaserver.mydomain.com: [can not read/write /etc/dumpdates:
Permission denied]
Client check: 3 hosts checked in 27.893 seconds, 4 problems found.

(brought to you by Amanda 2.4.1p1)

I am just wondering if anyone might know why I am getting these messages. I
am currently in the middle of reading
everything I can find on amanda rite now and I was hoping maybe by posting
here I could save myself some time?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Isaac
