Solaris 8 has a built-in sgen driver which will work perfectly with a DLT7.
With Solaris 2.6 you'd need to find a third-party driver. Solaris 8 with
the 'mtx' changer and the latest update of chg-zd-mtx (from this list, or the
version we use at http://www.noc.isite.net/?Projects) will work seamlessly.
