Add it to /etc/hosts, and configure the name resolver to look up
`files' first.  I.e., you don't disable it, you get it to do The Right
Thing (TM).

If you really mean to disable it, you may configure
--without-bsd-security, but then, make sure all of the users in your
network are trusted, and that no external machines can issue backup
requests to them.
