Those are the Amanda catalogue (index) files. They are created with
the .tmp suffix and then renamed into place when complete.
So what is happening here is you are backing up an active file system
and tar is telling you that. You can probably just ignore these errors,
or you could add an exclusion pattern so tar ignores them.
