Well, that's pretty hard to tell since you didn't post your disklist.
However the syntax David Lloyd gave was not quite right. It should be:
host.your.domain disk-to-back-up dump-type

Ummm, you don't put the list of clients to back up in amanda.conf.
They go in the disklist file.
