the output of ./configure :

My box is K6-2/500 with an Tekram DC390F scsi-controller.
Tape is an HP 35480A DAT-Streamer(4mm DDS).
OS is Linux kernel 2.2.14 (suse 6.4).

The amanda package shipped with the suse does not work,
maybe the same problem ?

It is my first try with backup software, sorry if i'm asking stupid
newbie questions.

regards

Frank
