At the moment I´m using Arkeia Backup w/ LTO to back up,
but it is as 'slow' as a DLT 7000 drive (150 to 200 MB/min).
Restoring w/ Arkeia is _very_ slow, about 30 MB/min [:((]
With taper I got about 600 MB/min (backup/restore),
what I think is acceptable.
Till now I didn't find out why it's so slow w/ Arkeia.
Have you done (are you doing) backups with different programs
(Arkeia, taper, tar etc) or other OSes than linux?
If yes, what is your experience about backup speed?
