Ok, here's the one in question. The error and end marker written is logged
about 58 lines down. Thanks to Srdjan I notice now that amflush
stops consistently after about 16 GBs. So I guess my tapetype might be
wrong, but my questions are:
1. Why does amdump usually get the full dump onto the tape at about 14
GBs? Does amflush run differently than amdump?
2. Is it because I'm using software instead of hardware compression?
3. The tape device is a 20/40 GB drive, so the I think the tapetype
would reflect the uncompressed value. So if the tapetype is right, what's
the best way to configure compression?
