Things to check:
* What is the "length" value for your tapetype?
* What is "runtapes" set to?
* Find the "DELAYING DUMPS IF NEEDED" line in your amdump.NN file.
It shows you how big the dump estimates were (total_size) as well
as how much tape Amanda thought it had to work with (tape length).
