TO make it step by step...
1) the client machine, sunny3, (one without the tape drive) must have
a user for Amanda. This is the user that you declared at .configure
--with-user=amanda This user must have a specific home directory, like
any Unix user.
2) connect on sunny3 as user amanda
3) do a "cd" to go to amanda home directory
4) use your prefered text editor to create the file .amandahosts and
make it contain
sunny3.neptune.com amanda
That should do the trick
