Hummm, are you sure nobody switched off the NT box at night?
Are you sure about the contents of /etc/amandapass?
Do you have non-alphanumerical characters in the passwords?
I found inconsistencies between amcheck and amdump, it does not check
everything, look at /tmp/amada to find something that could give you
more clue (sendsize file?) and then try the command you find in that
file by hand.
