Hi,
I'm getting the following error about each day while running my backup. It
seems very strange to me since i use 40Gb DLT's and if i read right, Amanda
is complaining of running out of tape after less than 40Gb - the place where
the dump fails changes each day (after 2 Gb, 16 Gb, 20 Gb, 7 Gb, ...)
I tried to use other tapes and another streamer, i get exactly the same
result. I also made a tar directly to the streamer. Maybe i was lucky, but i
didn't get any error - that makes me think the problem is not hardware but
amanda config.
My DLT are configured like this in amanda.conf :
