Don't use any strange character in the filename :)

You could try to see in /tmp/amanda/senddbackup.* and find the
smbclient command that was used, see if the error comes from smbclient
command or from another part of the process.

But knowing where is the errorw ill not solve it. Just bring
enlightment to your brain :)
