difference dumper client/server

Hi all!

I would want to know if the dump user on the client as to be the same as 
the one on the server side.
Or does the fact of having .amandahosts like that:
totalrecall.annihilation.com operator

in the home directory of my client dumpuser (say "amanda") is sufficient?



I never had this problem since because i always worked with bsd systems, 
so i was curious about that.
