It's after office hours now, so I'm just tidying up a few details so
that I can nail this tomorrow when I talk to my supplier.
There are no plans to put any other devices on the same chain. I am
slightly confused about the 'terminating with a wide connector' bit. I
was planning on terminating with a narrow connector. Are you
suggesting that I terminate with a wide connector, adapted with
another 68-to-50 pin adapter? This would give the following config:

Adaptec 68>50pin_adapter 68>50pin_adapter

HP_DAT wide_terminater
Sorry to appear so pedantic, but I am about to move jobs. This is the
last thing that I need to do here and I'm running out of time. I can't
afford any more mistakes (and I still need time to test).
Thanks,
Tom
