unfortunatelly Your patch was good for amrecover to work with PORTRANGE but
now I got troubles with amcheck. The message which I get is:
host tape_server_host: port 10045 not secure
host cleint_host: port 10045 not secure
No more detailes available yet but I'll try to check the source code again.
