tapetype running for 8 days !?

Hello,

I?m preparing to use amanda; therefore I use the tapetype command, because
my tapedrive (OnStream DI30, an IDE ADR tape drive, 15GB uncompressed, no
hardware compression) is not preconfigured in amanda.

I used the command "./tapetype -e 15g -f /dev/nht0 -t ADR-30GB".

The program is now running for 8 days; I read, that this can need some days,
but more than a week? Is this ok?
