You're asking the wrong people. Amanda does not do backups itself.
It runs other programs (typically GNU tar or a system dump) to do the
backups. That program would have to know about your databases.
Put another way, if you have a program that can do these backups the way
you want, Amanda can (probably) drive it for you. We do large Oracle
backups here every day, for instance.
