I wrote a Perl script to glue AMANDA's changer to a changer driver module I
found on the web at
http://www.in-berlin.de/User/kraxel/linux.html, which now appears to be
http://bytesex.org/changer.html. I used version 0.l3, because it was the
latest at the time. You will probably want to try a newer version.
Once you have Gerd Knorr's changer (above) working (it has a command line
utility 'userland' which allows you to control the changer for testing) then
the attached perl script will accept changer commands from AMANDA and
translate them to what userland is expecting. It works like any other
changer script, but might have some hard-coded stuff from my (odd) install
in it.
I probably re-invented the wheel, but it was late, and SCSI isn't my strong
point.
