hi,

I my opinion the problem is the following..

you should have the parameter "reserve" in your amanda.conf that is not
good choosed. This parameter tells amanda which percentage of your
holding disk that should'nt be used for full backup.

for example:
if the backup need to use 80Mb in the hoding disk and that
the holding disk is a 100Mb HD and that
the "reserve" parameter is set to 60
so 60% of 100MB is 60 MB that sould'nt be used for full backup
so you still have only 40 Mb for full backup
