I for one would prefer not to require sourceforge email addresses. I think it would definitely limit the number of people who used the lists. Or perhaps casual users could read the lists at the archive and not bother subscribing... I would grudgingly accept the change if necessary. Hmmm.. There are just the two lists, right? I have a feel for the traffic.
