What should it contain? I already had ~amanda/.amandahosts, which contained: fooserver.f.q.d.n amanda And then I sym-linked it to ~amanda/.amandahostauth I still get the same error: ERROR: fooclient: [access as amanda not allowed from amanda@fooserver] \ amandahostsauth failed I downloaded the src, and the docs only mention the .amandahosts file, which was the method which worked on the HP-UX clients. --Dave Chin [EMAIL PROTECTED]
