I run the amanda server in a Solaris8,and backuped some machine of IRIX6.5. Of cause, the directory is very deep: /a/b/c/d/e/f/file_for_restore.
First I cd the directory that I need restore the file to: "cd /a/b/c/d/e/f/" Then I run : "amrecover AIT2 -d xxx -s xxx" and now I see the file that need to be restored. "add file_for_restore" Then: "extract" .......... It takes 10 hours to restore a file of 8M. Any suggestions? Thanks. On Thu, 25 Oct 2001, Bernhard R.
