Actually that's my problem.  Amrestore will read the "index" on the tape,
but when I try to actually do the restore the system locks up.  After doing
a whole bunch more research and experimination, I believe that this is not a
problem w/ Amanda, but rather my hardware/system setup.  Anyone have
problems with system lockups when READING from tape?  I'd appreciate any
suggestions or things to try.
