Hi all,
Occasionally my backups exceed the size of one tape (DLT IV/7000)
I've adjusted the bumpsize, bumpdays, and bumpmult a little and that
seems to help. What I was wondering though, is can I just set
runtapes to 2?
What I'm hoping for is that if the dumps exceed 1 tape, it will just
move to the next available tape in changer, but if is doesn't, then
the next tape will get used the next night.
Does amanda know she needs 2 tapes, and mark 2 as being required,
therefore flagging the next in sequence somehow making the following
nights backups automatically destined for current-tape+2? Or, does
she only increment the next required tape *after* each tape has actually
been used?
