Amanda Backup Client Hosts Check

ERROR: snatch.newsnipple.com NAK: host xxx.frmt1.sfba.home.com: port 64712 not secure

I'm assuming this has to do with the fact that I'm behind a NAT firewall,
and, AFAIK, there's no way for me to tell the firewall to choose a 'secure'
port for the outgoing connection. I'll look into the firewall situation, but
does anyone know where I can go from here?
(Yes, I found docs/PORT.USAGE, and the first thing is says is "things should
just work in this case", but the author admits to not being familiar with
firewalls)
