Hi,

I got the following warning/error AMANDA report:

===============================
NOTES:
taper: retrying solo:/export/home.0 on new tape: [writing file: short write]
driver: solo /export/home 0 [dump to tape failed, will try again]

DUMP SUMMARY:

The log file shows:

As a result, when I try "amrestore" I got:
===============================
-461- amrestore /dev/nrst4 solo /export/home | ufsrestore ivf -
Verify volume and initialize maps
amrestore: 0: skipping start of tape: date 20011008 label GALAXY017
amrestore:   1: skipping wicket._export_home.20011008.0
amrestore:   2: restoring solo._export_home.20011008.0
amrestore: short write: Error 0
Volume is not in dump format
===============================

How do I access data for this file system? Must I use 'amrestore' command?

Thank you all,
