Yes, another list! (no thanks for now). I think the
error appeared because dump was trying to write the
/usr/local/etc/dumpdates (even after i gave the
--prefix=/ using configure). I'll try that at latter
time to see if works after creating this file.

I did and (after several hours) seems to be completed.
Only complained about some files that were not there
(mostly log files generated by a CORBA procress) but
aparently completed the job.
