I'm trying to get amanda to back up a few systems to a HP DAT 6-tape changer. I've got the changer set up properly, and I think that amanda is configured properly, but when I try to perform any amanda operations, it fails.

Nephrite is the fileserver on this (private) network, which I want to back up. For the sake of simplicity, I've removed the other hosts, since they all fail in the same way. I have a bind 8.x DNS server on this network, which is working fine. I can resolve "nephrite", "nephrite.gh.landmark-appraisal.com", (it's fqdn) and 192.168.0.3 (it's IP) without problems from the amanda server. What is the problem here? p.s.
