I recently downloaded and compiled Amanda 2.4.2p2. I had been using 2.4.1p1 that came
with RedHat 6.2. I had installed the binary from rpms. I wanted to get the SAMBA stuff
to work so I downloaded and compiled the most stable version. Everything compiled
fine. When I run amcheck I get a port not secure error. The port number seems to vary
in a range from 1024-1037. How do I solve this problem? I don't see any config options
that let me turn security off. I read the docs and I don't see anything about this.
Any help would be great.
