I have an interesting problem...
I have Amanda 2.4.2p2 running on Linux (2.4.16), using a Seagate Travan TapeStor USB drive (NS8), which finally started "working" (after I upgraded my kernel from 2.4.9) despite the following error messages logged repeatedly to the console during my backups:
st0: Error with sense data: Current st09:00: sense key Illegal Request
Additional sense indicates Invalid command operation code
I was able to backup 100-150 MB just fine, but when I started to backup more data (~2 gigs) from the holding disk (via amflush) I see the following message on the console:
freecom reset called
Does anyone else use the same hardware that is having similar issues?
Thanks,
nick
