Hi, I started an amdump of a configuration containing a few laptops and
which was still running when I left for the weekend on Friday. One of
the laptops was shutdown while a dump was actively being performed to
tape. Coming in this Monday, amdump is still running but (as the
machine is unavailable) apparently not doing anything and I safely
assume has been this way all weekend. I also disappointingly found out
that the owner of the laptop is out of town until Thursday (killing any
immediate possibility that making the laptop available online again
might allow amanda to sync up and continue). The laptop was the last
dump of many that were performed. One of the dumps that completed is
important and possibly irreplacable. What is the best action for
me to take, here? If I interupt amdump and run 'amcleanup', will this
remove all the other completed dumps from the database? Should I
keep the process alive until the guy gets back with his laptop? Thanks
for anyone's knowledge and/or advice.

Paul
